Online Window Shopping

I have been visiting Topman's online store as they are now shipping to Singapore. Yay! Although I haven't bought anything just yet. Here are my favorites. Oh, and Christmas is just around the corner! Thank God I have been nice! :)

What better way to celebrate the season but with cheesy Christmas jumpers!
This navy cardigan with all over reindeer print hits the right spot. Brownie points for brown and blue color combination.

Lovely dip dye burgundy sweatshirt makes me wish for colder weather.

Oh! They come in a T-shirt version!

I have been toying with the idea of getting printed pants and this fits the bill just fine.
(It is also on sale, so what's not to love?)

Ending this post with this awesome leopard print tee.
BTW, I got this same shirt from the actual store, on sale! Yay for good buys!

I might actually get to buy one or two things from this list soon. Or maybe, I'll just wait for Santa. Happy Christmas!

Hedi Slimane: Saint Laurent’s Spring 2013 Menswear

Hedi Slimane is one of my favorite designers. He is an icon. He made me realize being skinny never hurts anybody. Well, he is named "Slim"ane That's why I try to keep my body as it is because I have learned to dress it. If I grew muscles, I wouldn't fit into my clothes anymore (tragedy!) Plus, I now know what fits me and what doesn't. Yes, I don't have a healthy body but I try to eat healthy all the time. Back to Hedi... After his controversial return to designing, his first collection for Saint Laurent Womenswear wasn't all that remarkable, ehem. Well, it was his first womenswear offering so give the man a break.

Right now, let us just enjoy the wonders of Saint Laurent’s Spring 2013 Menswear lookbook photographed by the man himself. Disclaimer: I am fascinated with the leather pieces in this collection. Expect to see leather, leather and more leather.

Loving this utilitarian leather jacket. Minimal and refined.

Another leather piece, this time, it's a dress shirt reimagined in leather.

Triple pleated leather bottoms, hmm. I do like the striped top and stacked bracelets.
Not very manly, but who cares!

This! Awesome sleeveless shirt with zip detail in the collar and you guess that right, leather shoulder patches (!?!). No idea what these leather thingies are called.

Oh hello! Red leather blazer! Hugs for you!

Finally, a non-leather piece that I really like!
Collarless denim jacket!
Hmm, I think it's time to troll vintage/thrift shops for the perfect denim jacket.
Imma cut your collar off! DIY

And for accessories, I'm obviously amazed by the necktie thingy.
What is this amazingness, Hedi?!?

Lovely right? Welcome back Mr. Slimane.

OOTD: The Artsy Fartsy Edition

I rarely do outfit of the day posts (OOTD) for two basic reasons. 1, I don't own a proper camera and 2, I am too shy to ask a stranger to take my photo. Also, I wear the same stuff again and again, not very exciting for other people to take notice.

Anyway, today is a special day as I managed to drag my lazy butt off on a gray Saturday Afternoon to visit one of my favorite museum here in Singapore, the Singapore Arts Museum or SAM. I love their collection of contemporary art in different media, there are sculptures, paintings, videos, etc. Special also as I managed to take a few shots of what I was wearing.

OOTD: I wore a thrifted denim shirt over a pale pink tee from TopMan. Paired with dark green pants which I previously blogged about here. Shoes are white espadrilles from H&M and the Zadig & Voltaire bag is a freebie from one of the fashion magazines.

Here is a slightly better look at what I was wearing.
Behind me is a Wasinburee Supanichvoraparch metal sculpture of a puppy.
A very huge puppy that is.

And below are a few more pictures taken by my good friend.
Though I am not a fan of smoking, I did enjoy the series of smoking portraits by a Thai Artist.
Can you name them all? LOL! I spy Frida Kahlo, Princess Di, Andy Warhol, Kurt Cobain, Vincent Van Gogh and so much more.

This cute monogrammed creature is by an artist named Zero.

I love this hauntingly beautiful portrait.

There are a few Filipino artists whose works were featured on SAM.
One of which is Louie Cordero (above).

Plus a whole room dedicated to contemporary Filipino artists over at SAM at 8Q. See above.

And so the day is over. Thanks for reading!
